Shelley received her Masters of Science in Nursing with Pediatric Nurse Practitioner concentration at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has years of experience in pediatric emergency care at WakeMed, Duke Hospital, and UNC Nash Hospital. Shelley joined ECP in 2023. She was drawn to pediatrics because she feels kids are the most genuine human beings. She loves working with patients who give hugs, high fives, fist bumps, and blown kisses. As a mom and a provider, Shelley loves connecting with parents who are in the same adventure she is in raising healthy, well-rounded kids.
Shelley grew up in the Philippines where she received her BSN at The University of Santo Tomas. She is married and has three beautiful children. When not at work, she likes to read books, try different restaurants (she’s a foodie), and travel with her family. Their dream is to visit all 50 states and travel to as many countries as they can!
